Autumn 14 was originally written over a year ago while sitting at home during a rainy night. The descending chords really hit home for what I was feeling at that moment so I found my emotions really bleeding into the song. It went through lots of different versions with attempts of getting vocals on it. I had the pleasure of working with some extremely talented vocalists but in the end, I felt like singing something myself would mean more to me. I wrote the lyrics earlier this year about the sense of longing for something that was gone.

The Bonus Version is the darker, more cinematic version and is what happens when you continue working on your song long after you should have stopped. It has more intensity than the original and I couldn't have it just collecting dust on my hard drive.

I hope you get comfortable with a coffee or tea on a rainy day and listen to these songs the way they were intended to be heard.

Also, regardless of what the lyrics say, Autumn is still my favourite season.
